April 23, 200818 yr Greatest variety? No so sure about that. Behemoth looks pretty sweet. I'm heading up to Canada this summer, I'll make a stop by CW.

April 23, 200818 yr Those are in fact trim brakes, and unfortunately, behemoth has lots of them... I'm heading up to Canada this summer, I'll make a stop by CW. Photos and trip report are necessary!
April 23, 200818 yr Yea, it does appear Behemoth is going to be heavily trimmed...it appears to be on every return trip air time hill (based on watching the POV on their site). Let's hope if we get a B&M hyper next year, ours doesn't have all those trims on every air time hill..
April 23, 200818 yr Author Just because the brakes are there does not necessarily mean they will be used. Also, even if they are used, there is a huge difference between a light trim and a near stop....

Yeah, I remember reading somewhere that both Talon and Hydra at Dorney have trims, but neither ride has ever used them. I know that the park said they'd make a decision on whether or not to use the trims based on the g-force tests. Plus, if used correctly, the trims may even give the train more floater airtime, rather than sharp ejector air - just something to ponder on.

April 23, 200818 yr You make a good point Interp.... Hopefully they will be controlled, and limited to the effect they have. I can't imagine it'll kill the airtime, just slow it if its "going too fast" and controlling the negative G's so it's not to the uncofortable level.
April 23, 200818 yr Also, look at CP too. Raptors MCBR is usually turned off, and when its cold Magnum and Gemini's are too.
