This is really shocking! Many of us worked with Darlene for years, and I just can't believe this happened. I am sure there must have been compelling evidence since she was found guilty, but never in a million years would I have guessed she would be involved in something like this. Really a sad situation.

It also makes you wonder how long this had been going on, and if the amount believed to have been embezzled is the real total or just a shadow of what was diverted.

Maybe she was trying to make a new video game, Grand Theft Auto: Kings Island Edition. Only to get what she deserves for this crime.

I'm with you there. I knew Darlene for several years and would never have suspected this myself. I wonder what her sentence will be for two fourth degree felonies.

Probably a few weeks in a minimum security jail and some community service.

I have known Darlene for maybe 20 years, her husband longer than 20.

She is NOT the type to do this crime.

She's being used as a 'scapegoat ' to cover up something; too many things were

not allowed into the trial.

Are these speculations??

How come it wasn't brought up in the trial?

...if true, probably because the Judge ruled the proffered evidence was irrelevant, not material or repetitive. If that is the case, there are Courts of Appeal to address those issues.
