While they didn't disclose many details, the rumors floating around the internet for months now say a B&M Flyer....the gliding comment certainly lends itself to that. Its a sizeable plot of land they are working with, actually. In any event, I'm sure this will be a wonderful addition to the Park!

Ugghh, I hate trains that look like animals. I've always thought they looked so cheesy, except the Koala Bear launched freefall in RCT2, lol

...but i guess it does fit the theme of seaworld appropriatly

I've never been to Sea World before, but I think I may have to make my first trip once Manta opens. Looks like fun!

I wonder how fast the train is going to be going when it hits the water, or if it just gets close and they use fountains for the water splash effect. Even if they're going slow, it's still a lot of wear and tear on the side of the train.

Just based on the drawings, it looks to me like the edge of the manta in the front's 'wing' thing hits the water, along with the edge of those on the actual trains. This could just be for the concept art, though.

Why did they use mspaint for their concept art?

Depends on how the park wants to approach that:

If they want to do almost daily fiberglass work on the trains, they will have the frame touch the water.

If not, they will either install steel fins to the train's spine, or put in geysers pointed away from the train.

It's very interesting to be seeing B&M introduce this concept on other models.

Question though:

How would you angle those in order to produce a spray 45 degrees (or so) away from the 90 degree banked car, while still keeping it clear of the entire structure, and maintaining a head clearance for the ride? Kind of difficult unless you would just put metal fins on it.

Guess we just have to wait and see (patience young grasssmoker, we will find out soon enough)

2) Yes, we will have to wait and see as this seems like a new and interesting concept, but concept art is not always entirely accurate. Remember how awesome the concepts always were for Paramount? Yet the results always vastly, vastly different.

Yeah, I'd veture to say that the Busch projects actually come out looking much better than the concept art.
