The Water was shut off because of rust

Uh, what? I specifically recall walking around with Boddah1994 in August photographing the "splashdown" and riding on media night for HH in October and get sprayed with water on the warehouse scene.

The helicopter and the water worked fine every time i rode it as well. I am talking about the "Splash Down" effect when you break through the billboard.

I rode 4 times in the summer of 2006 and it didn't work any of those times.

Well then must have been youre luck... I do hope they fix Audio and of course the Lights that are sposed to come on in the tunnle.....That never worked....or did they scrap that idea?

Ya you know people say "Hey did you know it goes up side down in the tunnle?" I say no theres not then they get ****ed.....The other thing that makes me mad is when they call the Heilx a Corkscrew....Im like are you kidding me?

The lights are hooked up to the audio, so no audio=no lights

I've only ridden BLSC 2 or 3 times, and the audio only worked the 1st time. To be honest, I thought the audio was very cheesy, and I prefer the ride without it. I never really cared for the "behind the scenes/movie production" stuff that Paramount tried to do, like that awful Sound Effects show they had one year in PT. Universal and Disney Hollywood Studios pull that stuff off better IMO.

Universal and Disney have actual Studios at their Parks.

Yes the coaster is great without all the effects it was just a stage under previous ownership the park went for, but its still a great lil ooaster:

Gordon, we all know that it takes 25 years for Kings Island to restore nostalgia to a ride; just look at Racer. Lets see, that means we should have in car audio, headlights, fishtailing, and stair effects in the year 2030 or so.

I rode the coaster 2 times opening week and all the effects worked. Headlights, taillights, audio, fishtailing, flames, water, the chopper had some glitches but worked once....didn't notice the infamous stair effect though. However, wasn't the ride advertised with lasers and such in the tunnels...at least that was what I remember seeing in the animated teaser photo....however I could be wrong...anyone know?

The fishtailing effect is still on the trains. (It at least was at Bare Bones night last year. ZosoBeast and myself got some rare walk on rides to Backlot Stunt Coaster on Bare Bones Nights! In fact we got back to back rides where we were the only two people in the train!)

The fishtailing effect is hard to pick up. It is usually most noticable right before the 90 degree turn near the Dodgems.
