I thought that the SOB trains were new.On wiki (Which i know isnt very reliable)It says they came from Hurricane category five From Myrtle Beach Pavilion.I thought they were new?

They are new............to Kings Island and SOB I guess. Keep in mind the chassis, wheels, chain dogs and other components of these trains were heavily modified by the parks Wooden Roller Coaster Maintenance to fit the wide track gauge of the Son of Beast. So new.....in some sense yes and some sense no.

Nope, they were brought from Pavilion after the owners decided to tear it down, and try to make everyone happy by building a smaller park with less rides than a county fair.

I'm sure the soon to open Hard Rock Park was in no way a factor in Pavilion's decision, the Interpreter opined sardonically and with tongue firmly in cheek.
