February 19, 200818 yr Also, www.sfstl.net has been doing really good with getting construction photos posted, and the GCI interns site has some as well.
February 19, 200818 yr Looks like it is going to be quite a coaster and i am sure the man himself would approve.
February 19, 200818 yr Author Evel was a tireless self-promoter...as long as the money was right, he'd approve!
February 19, 200818 yr Author Unfortunately, he is no longer with us...so he won't be there, except perhaps in spirit! He died November 30, 2007.

February 19, 200818 yr Author He was 69. He had been sick for at least ten years. In 1999, he had had a liver transplant, as he had had hepatitis C, from a blood transfusion. In recent years, he had had two strokes, was on oxygen, and needless to say, all his jumps had left him with many aches and pains. He actually had had a morphine pump put in to deal with the constant pain.

I am still trying to figure out where the pulmonary fibrosis came from-inhaled chemical exposure and sarcoidosis are two underlying causes of it. My dad was a cement worker, which I am convinced contributed to his having it, although in Evel's case the only thing i can figure is the motorcycle exhaust. Still that is not enough....but the fibrosis is what took him in the end. i may have to take a trip to check it out when it is completed.
