But...if the leap year is not evenly divisible by the factor 400, the rotation is skipped. Just as a point of information, 2000 was evenly divisible by 400, so rotation was not skipped.

I had a friend who came with me to Kings Island once, and she insisted that the Son of Beast was built before The Beast.

I was like getting SO frustrated when I tried to tell her I REMEMBERED when they were BUILDING the Son of Beast.

I heard that when they were building the lift hill for Son of Beast a tornado ran through it and they had to rebuild it.

I have heard quite a couple of times that the reason why The Bat was closed years ago was because multiple people were slung out and died. Even though i wasnt alive at the time, i know that the short life of the ride was mostly downtime.

Also, somebody said that the sirens for the tube lift on Tazmanian Typhoon was to warn that it was dangerous (this was some little kid who was scared).

I heard someone once say that the netting on the turnaround of The Vortex (after the first drop) was put into place after one of the trains "fell off" and landed in La Rosa's So the two people that were talking about this jumped when the train came around, and they ran across the pathway screaming.

No they just sort of beep when the tube lift starts.

Lift hill warning sirens/horns are there to alert any personnel who may be in the area that the device is about to start, so they can get out of the way. Sadly, at least some Canadian geese don't seen to heed such warnings, as Fabio can attest.
