December 5, 200718 yr Camden park has 2 of their retired dodgem (old style) cars out on the lot for sale if anyone is interested. they are asking $100 obo. Probably get them for $50 each just thought i'd pass that along to someone that might wanna buy one.
December 5, 200718 yr They are Lusses, but have been sitting out in the weather since the end of the Spooktacular. I doubt that any of them actually works at this point.
December 6, 200718 yr Author ah...you know more about them then me. i was just posting for people that collect the memorabilia are you from this area?
December 6, 200718 yr I am older than you, not that I know more. I remember the Lusses that were at Camden Park BEFORE the ones that are in the parking lot for sale. I follow parks, and for various reasons, I don't post about what I do or where I am....I follow lots of parks, large and small, from New Jersey (see my recent Jack Rabbit posts) to California to Arkansas to New Mexico! It's part of what I do... Thanks for asking though! I was VERY glad to see your post. I'd seen the bumper cars in the parking lot last couple of times I was through there, but did not know they were for sale.
December 6, 200718 yr Author just wondered.......i saw they were there a few weeks ago but didnt think much about them. i assumed they were for scrap metal but i went by today and ended up calling them and finding out about them. ive ridden in those many many times...they would be a great collector for those that collect amusement memorabilia.
December 10, 200718 yr Leave one for me if you don't mind, Interpreter. I think it would be cool to have one of them. Not sure where I'd place it.
December 11, 200718 yr That would be really cool to have, but where would I put it .... on top of my roof?
December 12, 200718 yr I called Camden yesterday and the lady told me that there are other cars to be sold that are in storage. And, of course, the two by the fence are also for sale.
December 12, 200718 yr They only want $50 a peice for them. I wonder if one would fit in a durango. Put a gas motor in there and you would have a pretty cool go kart.
