Cyclone

Featured Replies

Since 2008 will be the last year of operation for New Yorks Coney Island maybe we could have the Cyclone coaster? I think it would fit in nicely at our park.

It still wouldnt come here however. Thats another expense for Cedar Fair, and if the rumor of the 2009 coaster is true it would not happen

Anybody who thinks The Coney Island Cyclone will ever be relocated outside New York City, much less New York State, is smoking something...

Cyclone is way to old to be moved to ki. It will also cause alot of maintenance.Cyclone07.jpg

I mean look at it!

I don't see your point. How are you judging the upkeep costs and how much labor goes into maintaining the ride from an aerial photo? It's age is not the reason its not going to be moved out of New York, its not going to be moved because its a state historical landmark!

well 2 yeas ago when i was 11 we went to NY for a school trip, so we decided to stop by coney for a few hours, when we rode cyclone it was the most painful ride i have ever been on it was even more painful then Son of Beast during its loopy years and broke down like 4 times when i was there.(i wrote this all with my PSP, OUCH! MY HANDS!)
