Photo Spots

Featured Replies

Could somebody tell me where a good spot to shoot a photo of Adventure Express in action would be. Also what about some spots for Top Gun?

AE is very difficult to photograph. The top of the tower is your best bet. Top Gun's easy. Just go down the exit and it's like a gold mine.

Agreed - AE is a tough one. If you have a decent zoom on your camera, you can get a shot of the "drop" out of the station (if you even call it that) from the entrance line before you start up the ramp. You could also get a shot of the first lift from the exit of The Racer.

It's all about having a good zoom and being at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

You can see a little bit of AE if you are standing in front of DOT.

Thankfully, at least so far Kings Island hasn't adopted the typical Cedar Fair park's attitude of "You MUST exit now, you cannot take photos from the exit. If you don't leave NOW, you will be ejected from the park without refund." See: Steel Force at Dorney Park, in particular....

And hopefully they won't... Groups often get separtated a little when they get close to the ride and have to ride different trains..... As long as people are respectful and stay outside the gates, then that should never be a problem...
