so why does KICentral have it listed as a faimly ride insted of a roller coaster

KICentral is a fine and wonderful website, but it is NOT the park. Heck, even pki.com has it listed as a "Jumbo Skating Adventure" in Nick Universe. As I said earlier, even the park sometimes lists it as a coaster and sometimes not.

Consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds. . .

All this is confusing! At least everyone knows that CP has 17!

Actually, according to the book Roller Coaster by David Bennett, Demon Drop is considered a free fall coaster. But the same book classifies Adventure Express as a bobsled coaster and says we have another ride called "Mine Train." Just throwing that out there.
