I haven't seen anyone mention this, but it seems that Paramount Parks are no longer under the umbrella of Paramount Motion Picture Group. It seems that Viacom has transferred the theme park division to be under the umbrella of Nickelodeon. My guess it would be because they are going for the family park and trying to draw in people with Nickeldoen name.

Someone's brought this up before, but really, it doesn't mean much. Similarly to how Paramount Parks used Nickelodeon licenses, the new Nick management will be allowed to use the Paramount licenses, and they will continue to be Paramount Parks. And with all the movie themed attractions, it would make no sense to become NKI. I believe this is basically just a move by Viacom to switch management, so Paramount can focus fully on movie making. I could be wrong though, they may infact become a Nick park, but I really doubt it. Think of it this way, Paramount Parks is now operated by Nickelodeon, as opposed to Paramount Pictures.

Logic dictates that I must concur with Ryan. Right now PKI, as a Paramount park, uses copyright material from Nickelodeon, MTV, CMT, and other Viacom owned affiliates. That's the advantage of Viacom being the parent company.

The only potential change I see is that some zealots at Nickelodeon may wish to expand the Nickelodeon areas of Paramount's different parks at the expense of Hanna-Barbera areas. Additionally, next season we may see less emphasis on PKI as a movie park.

It would be pointless of Paramount to go through the un-necesary and expensive process of changing PKI to NKI and all Paramounts Parks into Nickelodeon Parks. It is probably just a change in which the managers of Paramount's Parks report to Nickelodeon executives rather than Paramounts Pictures executives. That's my opinion anyway.
