Fear Fest 2004

Featured Replies

Why on the Season Pass Coupon book does it say the park is only open until 9:00 pm on saturdays, but on the website it says park open until 12:00am on saturdays. Also when does the Fear Fast website normally comes out to look at.

Thanks,

Jake

Yeah I hear FearFest is getting hours cut instead of staying open until 11 or 12 they will be closing at 9pm

Don't hold me to this, but from what I understand, Fearfest will only be held on Saturdays between certain hours. I'm not sure if it's early or late or what. Hopefully, since they're not promoting the living heck out of it, it won't be ridiculious this year.

Dont hold your breath...

Muhahahahaha!

And Fearfest will be on Saterdays closings at 12.

I was at FearFest last year. The lines were HORRIBLE for anything related to FearFest. The rest of the park was a breeze, rode The Beast about 20 times.

I got on all the rides that where not in Fearfest last year as a walk on. I see they are hiring for Fearfest right now at www.pki.com.

I know that last year they had about 3 mazes that would open up at 3pm, and then the rest would open up after the sun went down (usually around 7). This was to try and cut back on the lines. This way people could do the indoor mazes durin the afternoon and the outdoor mazes later on. This was to try and cut back on the long lines all over the place. Which in my opinion it did because they did not seem to be as long as in past years. The longest line is usually the one down at the Path (by FoF). The park is open until midnight on sat.

Oh man,I tried to ride some FearFest attractions last year and couldnt the lines were so long .The attractions I did ride I didn'y enjoy FearFest 2003 was dumb& a waste of time.

I hope PKI bring back that Scooby's Trick or Treat thingy for the Kids...that was awsome.

I like FearFest I remember when they had scary look faces on the Phantom Theater figures and they had set up Phantom Theater to be very scary.anyone else remember?

The Train to the grove again?

The Train to the grove again?

Last year they had the train set up as the kids ride for the fest of 2003. I am not sure what you did on it as it had a 5 hour wait and not that many cars on both trains. I think they got a pumpkin and get the color on it. I saw alot of little kids with pumpkins and candy.

A quote from a man you may all know (or have heard of many a time.)

"Fearfest this year will be bigger and badder than ever!"

When I went last year everything was crowded. The rides and all the attractions. I liked it best when you would pay extra if you had a pass, and the other people had to pay full price, because then it was never crowded. NOw since if you have a pass you get in for free it is horrible. I would rather pay a little extra and have no line than have masses of people there.

Two years ago Mrs. Chef and I went to FearFest and enjoyed ALL (9 or more) of the haunted attractions in less than 3 hours!!! This is when FearFest had a separate fee.

Last year with FearFest being free, there were so many people I did only 2 attractions in 3 hours. Hence, I'd rather pay more and ride more.

Have a great day!

:chef:

the train would take you to a little area where the kids could pick a small pumpkin, and then the train would drop you off at the picnic grove. There the kids could color the pumpkin, talk to a talking pumpkin, and go though a blow up maze. It was fun all around. There never were many people out there in the mornings so if you want to come to this event i suggest u come early.
