I wasn't living here locally until I was around 10 years old. My grandparents lived here and we spent most of the summer with them as kids. My favorite memory is everyone getting ready to go to Kings Island and my grandparents old house in Milford.

I thought it didn't end until a week before the event?

The still doesn't stop having to walk through a cloud of smoke on the path from The Beast to Vortex.

It would be nice if they just completely banned smoking within the park. At least two of the smoking areas are terribly placed to where others have to smell it. People should be able to go a few hours without smoking and if you're there all day go to your car.

People are picky on this site about things. This is why I don't post any pictures or anything found on another site. I'd rather not waste my time with it or get hassled if I do something wrong. I'm looking forward to seeing these lights. I think someone mentioned it a while back but I agree with whoever it was I'd like to see strobes on the back half of the ride.

I am a little disappointed in the station colors. I was hoping it would be a bit darker. Oo well still really looking forward to seeing the final product.

Winners have been notified. Everyone else will still get an e-mail. They are setting up a reserve of some sort so that if people back out those spots can be filled. Now for a little bit of a rant. I cannot stand lottery systems and not just with this. I have never been picked in any of them. Every year since they have been doing it I sign up for the Reds opening day ticket opportunity and the years they were in the playoffs. I have never been picked. There have been others too. It's just frustrating, had this been first come first serve I would have got in because I made sure I was away from work and ready to register the moment it started. End of rant. Congratulations to those who did get picked!

Okay, thank you. So how does it work for the corporate donations? Does each company get one seat or multiple? I'm just curious.

It would be cool to see those show as well.

On Twitter it was said that Kings Island is approaching 30k raised for Scream for a Kid Again, but on the event website it says 10k. What am I missing here?

I just got a call from Cedar Point's marketing. They said they were refining the Coaster Campout list and asked how many I would have with me. So if you get a call from Sandusky that's what it is about.

The only ride I have ever been stuck on for a long period of time was the Skyride at Cedar Point. We were in the middle of the ride at the highest point for about an hour and a half. They let us jump the line for Raptor and Millennium Force after. I wasn't overly upset it was a good view.

On the three point shot when I worked it I could make three of five shots almost every time. I don't think I could do that now though. The rim used to be double rimmed and normal shape. Now it's single rim and a little bit oval. Still marketable, but it's a different beast.

My goals are not for just this season but things I have always wanted to do. - Attend a media day. - Take part in a charity event involving a park or coasters.
