  1. That's what happened with Beast I think. The tunnel was one of the last things completed on the ride. Probably due to Clearance tests as Silver stated.
  2. Another note, I noticed that the Lock-out fence on the bottom of the first-drop there. That means we're also getting closer to having the ride opened up.
  3. I mean, $1 for 1 hour is not bad, especially for a 2 hour minimum? I mean...
  4. This will be heavily interesting as I will be working at Panda Express in the Festhaus this year, so I'll probably get to watch the show a lot.
  5. I like your concept. But keep in mind that the service road that is right there is one of the only ways to reach Banshee from the Maintenance shed.
  6. I thought Thunderbird at Holiday World was also a pretty great announcement.
  7. Think of it this way. While it might be a bad year for roller coasters. It isn't a great year for amusement parks that will be getting a new roller coaster. More enthusiasts will flock to those parks getting a new ride while others will be slowing down a little bit. This is why 2018 is going to be a bigger Year for parks receiving a new ride. While others will really slow down.
  8. I like how much you are quickly are being in denial about something like CP moving WT to CGA. But seriously. A SMALL FOOTPRINT, high thrill roller coaster using LINEAR INDUCTION MOTORS to propel a train BACK & FORTH, in a straight section climbing TWO TOWERS at either end (Twists at the end) speeds up to 70mph. Literally Wicked Twister. But That could also mean a new one is coming. OR CP is removing wicked twister for a new park expansion, especially to Snoopy area?
  9. ^ At the exit where the train station is as far as I know.
  10. Now I know about the drone policy for Kings Island, (Not that I own a drone, but I know about it.) But I believe those photos posted are via an Airplane or Helicopter. I'm just taking reference at how small Diamondback looks. This seems like the photo was taken from possibly 400 to 600 feet in the air? Maybe higher? I don't think drones can fly that high, not without even breaking FAA rules. The pictures in question also seemed to be in a more straight path, like a curved path around the park. Again, also similar to evidence of being taken from an airplane and or Helicopter.
  11. I wish roads were the same way... (coughcough I-71 and I-75...)
  12. Site is working as normal, no update.
  13. Honestly, Single Riders are the best thing ever for Ride Operators. You guys are like Candy. We love to attempt to get full trains as best as we can. So when we have a row of 3, and a singe rider comes up? It's the best thing ever, especially if they don't mind where they sit.
  14. Don stated before closing day last year that Employees wouldn't know what is in the Shed even with a dry run. (At least that's what it sounded like.) I need to find that post, but I do remember seeing it.
  15. They will by no means force you, IF you are not comfortable doing it then they will not put you on that position. Honestly you can easily get into it, I believe it took me a month or so? (Before our Microphone broke.) but I was okay with it after about a month, and became a natural. It usually just comes to you. Study the ride your at, and you can name off some facts from the top of your head quickly without any cards.
  16. ^ It is meant to be that way. the MCBR on Fof is more of a Full-Stop Mid-Course Brake Run. (FSMCBR)
  17. ^ Good reference, but Park map isn't exactly accurate per-say... (Picture provided using NearMap) The Red line indicates the Center of the Webcam. Green rectangle indicates the crane closest to the webcam, while the Yellow circle indicates roughly where the second crane might be.
  18. Probably will, since it's Cirque, and they stated that they would have entertainment line up.
  19. Possibly either an error, or they do not count double crossings (Like crossing the reservoir twice could be only once for them since you've already crossed it once.)
  20. Thanks! - From a member of the Banshee Crew.
  21. ^ I mean, If they were to do that. They'd probably start low stocking items towards the end. Sweet Spot might get some Peppermint Candy type of items. Peppermint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream anyone? (That likes Peppermint)
  22. Probably Larosa's.. If the train were to be available, possibly Tom and Chee. Panda Express?
  23. Why weird? Park has been doing that for at leas the last two years.
  24. That is the only thing that is really confusing me. But I understand the process as to why they wouldn't hook up the waterline from there (Filtered Water Vs. Unfiltered Water for Water Ride purposes.
  25. As far as I'm concerned, It just gets connected to the Parks main water supply (that isn't filtered.)
