Fear the Offseason

Does anyone know if the first helix is all the way completed or not? I see that the MCBR is in and the descent after that but i haven't been able to get a good look when the webcam shot is off if the whole helix is finished.

Well now that the Hammerhead is done, they don't have much more track to put in. I bet they'll have the track finished by Friday of next week...Hopefully!

Okay, because it looked really thick on the webcam but it has all lifted already.

What is going on down in Mason? I looked at the webcam at like 8:30am and it was normal. Now all of a sudden it's all foggy or something...Maybe it's just the webcam, I don't know. Does anyone know what it is?!

Well looking at the webcam it looks like there is a semi truck parked under the top of the hill and it looks like it might contain the part of the trck that is going to top of this massive hill!

I'm so disappointed that they never moved the webcam while the lift is going up. Oh well...at least it is going up!!

Maybe they are planning on repainting some of those yellow supports to the tanish color after they have it all built? Hopefully...because that's just too much yellow!

Either way it is going to be an awesome ride no doubt! I can't wait until April so I can ride this Snake!

When it shows the view of the side of the crypt...you can see the top of the crane at the botton of the webcam.

Right now the crane is sitting down in front of the crypt down on the midway. So I don't know what they are doing.

Okay it is back up for me. Man oh man that second hill is going to be huge. I like how it is at an angle at the bottom of the hill too!

The webcam is done right now for me. Is this happening for anyone else??

Looks like on the webcam, the angle that shows the side of the Crypt, they moved the webcam down a little bit and now you can see part of the Crypt's exit and the small yellow support. So maybe they are going to change it so we can see the lift hill for tomorrow!

I just tried to go to Diamondbacks home page and it says it is under construction. So maybe they are adding construction photos, putting in a new blog or just changing the look of the page.

^Man I guess you were right. I coulda swore it was for the first hill. But now when I look at that picture I was way wrong!

No, that yellow support is for the bottom of the first hill! No ifs, ands or buts about it!

That big yellow support they just put up by the train tracks is not the start of the second hill. It is the bottom of the first hill. But on the track layout that support should be tan colored. So maybe they decided to make it yellow.

^I also saw that. I just can't seem to think of what it might be. I wish they could change the web cam so we could see it! EDIT: actually i think it is part of the huge crane they are going to use. They have brought in about 3 different pieces.

^Well right now they are putting in the yellow supports for the first hill.

I hope they do some sweet theming work for this queue. Indoors to make it look like your in a snake hole. Prolly won't happen but that would be cool. I just hope they don't leave the queue plain.

Those pictures are great. Maybe today they'll get all of the turn around done and can start on the station! It looks like they got some new track delivered to the site. It's probably the station track.

^^ Yeah they just slid that transfer track over so it would be easier to install the track before and after it!
