^^of course you can. take out the rosebowl, put in a turn around, add a tunnel to the helix, put in some timberliners and the ride would be set.

It would cost a lot to tear down the world's only wooden hyper coaster and second longest wooden coaster at that. Also that wood is heavily treated and I doubt it could be re-used.

It seems like they don't consider SOB a coaster anymore. I mean if you go to rcdb it says that beast is the longest in the US, followed by SOB, then Millennium Force. But MSN claims that Millennium is the 2nd longest. Also that El Toro is the fastest wooden.

wow, look at their description of El Toro... "This ride offers speeds of up to 70 mph—the fastest for a wooden coaster in the U.S."

If you've never been then plan to. KI is great, but you can never go to long without a HW fix. This will be my 3rd time this year. The Beast is classic and a great ride, but after a ride on the Voyage you will be forever changed. It's the only ride I come off physically exhausted from sitting down. That ride really does justice to the Pilgrims Voyage to America.

I was just about to say something here, but then I realized it wasn't worth it. No matter what I say I can't change the fact half of people hate SOB. I can't change the fact that my favorite ride that I love for some reason is constantly bashed while overrated rides like Beast and Diamondback go on with constant praise. Why are we all getting so worked up this much on both sides over a roller coaster? ...... I'm going to Holiday World

SOB may be painful, but what is more painful is hearing Beast1979 say how much he hates the ride over and over. We get it.

$150,000 seems pretty cheap compared to some of the other similar rides
