  1. The question I ask myself is Do I , as a person, really wanna see a midget bleed? No. Could this be entertaining? Sure, To the right crowd. To be honest, If I were to go to KI this Oct and see this event taking place it would just remind me of middle school when all the kids would gather around too see some dumb fight and hoping someone gets hurt. I for one think its a tasteless act of entertainers who found no other way to make money other then staple each other and fight in a tiny ring. I'm willing to bet my nickels that there will be fights but not just the midgets, but guest too. I wouldn't wanna put my friends/family in any type of danger, just a feeling that this won't be controlled. I don't wanna take my chances with this type of event and what crowd it will bring. Guess we'll have to see how this goes, but for the first time in 10 years, I will not be going to KI for any Halloween related events.
  2. A lot of people are making choices between KI or Kathy Griffin, I love her but hey, nothing beats a night with a bunch of gay guys and roller coasters!
  3. Yes food and gift shops will be opened except those that are located in Snoopy Planet. Thanks for the info. Gotta have my LaRosa's, ya know! No blue ice cream tonight, though. Blue ice cream is also served in Action Zone near the exit of Delirium.
  4. I hope everyone has fun today, I'll be at the park, but I'll be a very very busy person.

  6. No, red was for public days if I remember correctly. Mostly everyone you see at KI friday night will be gay so no need to stand out
  7. For your safety, I recommend not doing that. If you go there with the mind set of preaching , it will be a waste of a trip. If these people wanted too listen about the "Gospel or Jesus" they would go to church, NOT KI. You will be removed from KI property by KI security and If you don't follow their instructions, Mason police will have no problem explaining them too you. Also KI has a strict No soliciting policy. Even if you buy a ticket and you go inside the park and try to put on a preaching act, you will cause a disturbance and since KI is private property you don't have the right to "protest" so to say. Either way you look at it, your KI pride night will be short lived. Now it will be a different story if you come out and support and have fun and just ride the rides. Also don't reply back too this quote if you have a disagreement, Call the parks HR. Many bigots and haters have bought tickets to get in to Pride Night, If they cause a scene in the park, they ALWAYS get kicked off KI property. Last year a man was trying to hand out "Word of god on homosexuality" pamphlets in the park during pride night, He found himself with many of his pamphlets and 45 dollars in the hole after getting kicked out. Also KI security is always on full alert for events such as these , as they too are aware that people might buy tickets and come in the park and cause a disruption.
  8. The last couple of years it would work like this Online tickets - 40 bucks with free parking Or You can buy your ticket at the park + pay for parking. I can't believe someone told you that they weren't going to sell tickets at the park. Seems to me that selling tickets at the park the day of would no longer make this a private event as anyone could walk up and buy a ticket to get into the park. It is a private event though. Your season pass will not get you in for this event. You either have to buy tickets online or day of event. Only advertisements about this event is through local gay organizations. Also the KI sign displays "Welcome To Pride Night"(did last year anyways) Everyone is welcome to come, except for haters,non-supporters,bigots. So this is an private event. This night isn't targeting the general public either(kid section of the park is closed and so is BB) Only people that really come are Supporters(family members or friends of a gay person they know) Gays & Lesbians and Gay organizations. Edit: I actually pretty sure the KI sign displays "Closed to the public" and the next line is the "time" and then the next line is "Welcome to Pride Night"

  10. I'll make a couple calls today over to the center and verify that for you.
  11. Can I have the name of the person who told you that, also what department? I would PM you but the PM system is broken.... They WILL be selling them at the gate....like they've always done. Also I think that for you to get free parking, you need to buy your ticket online. http://www.cincyglbt.com/pride-night
  12. Double post :S seems like a little lag on my part caused me to post twice.

  14. Did you get the shirts done ?
  15. You would have to call and talk to a manager. As far as I know, No. What's Cedar Fair policy on Private Events vs Public Day for off duty employees that wanna vist the park ??
  16. I've actually ran into a little money problem(this year hasn't been the greatest) and trying to get enough for my food and ticket, as of right now I think I'll be able to make it still. I'll be there one way or the other.
  17. Try your local banks, sometimes they have great deals!!! I remember going to my local bank getting the tickets for 22 bucks a piece earlier this year.
  18. No that wasn't a joke! Every Amusement Park should have its own Roller Coaster!
  19. Its a roller coaster.
  20. Like I said in some of my other posts.... I really miss KI being a flagship park
  21. Don't really care for midgets wrestling to be honest. I rather them feature freak side shows(like some that we have seen on AGT) That would make me wanna pay extra for haunt. I would think midgets tumbling(I mean wrestling) around is just boring and fake. http://swingshiftsideshow.com/ ^^ here's an example of what I think would be cool to feature at KI during HH.
  22. 1: Flying Eagles (I WANT TO SNAP!) 2: Phantom Theater 3: Antique Cars 4: Keel Boats ( AWE YES) 5: Tomb Raider 4 & 5, I want them both.
  23. I don't know why you mentioned, DT, last time I checked DT was considered one of the safest rides in the park. Also the Restraints need to be that big for guest that are over 48 inches tall, I do know DT has a max height limit as does Delirium.
  24. They should of just made the Eiffel Tower observation decks spin around and give us a new coaster
