I wouldn't say miserable, One of my best memories at/of KI is when it was pouring and it was cloudy. I got my first kiss in the rain right after we got off The Beast.

Be careful about this, sometimes on a rainy day they will decide to just run one train or none at all(most cases its none) Anyway I know in Paramount Era(Viacom and ??CBS??) You could come on just a rainy day(no matter how hard it poured) Majority of Rides were up and running. Also wanna know what the BEST ride there was to ride when it POURED? Like I'm talking about when you couldn't see in front of you, Son of Beast(with the loop and old trains). Talk about one HELL of a ride. *Remembers getting on The Beast dry and leaving drenched and welts on my arm*

If my friend (GLBT Cincinnati) wants to have a party, he may ask me (Kings Island) to host it. It doesn't mean it's my party, but I'm the host, because I welcome his (GLBT) friends into my home(/park). Kings Island has the opportunity to say "No" to the events that want to rent out the park. For these particular instances, they said "Yes." Probably for financial reasons, but they are hosting, right? No, GLBT Cincy has a contract with KI. We also profit from selling tickets. Little different then your story.

KI doesn't host gay pride night. GLBT of Cincy hosts and rents out the park for the night. You would be surprise who shows up

I'm actually going to buy a SF Thrill pass this year rather then the usual CF season pass. I think a road trip to California will be fun and think of all the awesome SF parks i'll be able to hit along the way

Its actually pretty simple on what happened. The ride didn't gain enough speed, started rolling back. The ride has no anti-roll back brakes/fins(according to some articles) The ride therefor went back into the station and collided with another train. The ride op NEVER has control of anti-roll back devices on launch coasters(meaning they can't turn them on or off)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure that FOF and SC both have anti-roll back brakes, Both FOF and SC have had rollbacks and they were safely stopped.

Also I watch the full episode, After the fight, the Midget wrestling crew was escorted back to their hotel room(being kicked out of the pool area which is where the Rehab Party is). No more then 8mins later head of security was called to a Room for Unknown reasons. Turns out it was their room and these midgets were breaking everything, some of them weren't even drunk!! The reason the fight started was, Midgets were getting too out of hand in the next cabana, getting really loud and just being very rude towards the people around them, also they were trying to get girls that were involve with other guys into their cabana too party.
