Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
Since they also have dorms for some employees, how could they best keep workers from infecting each other if asymptomatic? House employees that work the same areas they risk a whole ride or store needing closed due to manpower. But dispersed they could spread to multiple areas. It's going to be tough either way.

Those tests still have to be done in a clinical setting by qualified medical professionals.

Will require 50% capacity at June 14th also. I noticed a 2 week gap between the previous stage instead of 1 week like stages 1-3. So it does give them a bit of a buffer and ability to change dates.

After reading through the order, good news is it can be modified before the end date as usual. But out of state travelers are expected to still quarantine for 14 days.

This one had a paywall but if I googled the same article it didn't have a paywall.

Cummins running CNC machines, we usually get up to 90 degrees in summer already, so should be interesting.

KI Employee Questions
Why is it the best to work in you opinion? Xtreme Skyflyer as a guest seems to be the most with operators hands on and reliant on training. Just watching the process and overchecks for a cycle definitely made me wonder how stressful it is.

2 Qs you might be able to answer: Do OPs do the LOTO and area searches for lost items themselves? What's the most complicated LOTO ride you are aware of?

Some symptoms like coughing are a normal part of long term smoking though. So while a person that doesn't smoke may go to the doc for a cough that has developed, smokers may figure it's normal for them. And given it's going to be a trial with nicotine patches if approved smoking wouldn't be required.

Kings Island and Cedar Point opening Mid-May
It's based partially on when they project peak which isn't for 4 more days, and when they project deaths to be 0 which isn't June 9th.

Kid raised $238 in cash, we have no way to get it to them right now since can't turn it in at the park.

Same as when you get a car loan it's usually the collateral. If you don't repay bank takes the collateral. Pretty much a way to feel that banks can give money without losing anything in the end. Either CP will repay or bank owns the parks.

Me and the husband were discussing this yesterday. Since most public waterparks and pools are chlorinated wouldn't that make them a likely choice to open first? (Weather dependent of course)

Thought it'd be a funny Bday present since she's a coastermaniac. Sorta like buying a star, or plot of land on the moon. Considering the unit cost right now, a couple wouldn't hurt us. Performance in the Park with begins May 22nd-Nov still has the 22nd as a start date, hopefully they are being conservative on what they need to cancel.

Kings Island and Cedar Point opening Mid-May
I wasn't even aware of Ohio's 14 day quarantine requirement, but heard of other states (I live in Indiana). KI would be smart to put a notice of the order up IF they chose to open. But it would also require Indiana to go to a phase 2 before I could travel anyway.

Kings Island and Cedar Point opening Mid-May
It will definitely be interesting, more so if they take Indiana with May 25th and Kentucky with June 8th projections to implement Phase 1 into account.

Kings Island and Cedar Point opening Mid-May
This is a projection I see alot of people referencing for when things may trend downward and opening things up. Definitely not the definitive but crazy the differences from state to state. https://covid19.healthdata.org/united-states-of-america/ohio Even if phase 1 happens May 1st, it's recommended 2 weeks without an increase in cases, if no increase in cases KI could possibly open once in Phase 2 (large venues, bars, can resume with moderate social distancing) would it be feasible enough to protect employees? It would take phase 3 to meet get unrestricted staffing though.

Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
I've already been tailed by a lady and yelled for having my 11yo in my car when "she shouldn't even be in public". This was after I had picked her up from her dads and stopped at the gas station to refill. I went in by myself and got us sodas while having to prepay for gas.

If they brought Phantom Theater characters we'd probably end up doing more than our normal 1 weekend trip. I'm kinda surprised it hasn't happened around the Eiffel Tower given the setting.

Believe you misunderstood my post as wanting ride ops to handle bags like they have at times in the past. I'm talking about cutting that practice completely.
