Thanks. I attempted to find this list on the Facebook page mentioned above, but after scrolling through 100 posts and not seeing it, I gave up. I also love You Betcha from Sonder. I’m hoping they continue to bring in local options and don’t stock it with just lift/truth/psychohopathy.

Does anyone have a list of the beers on tap at the brew house?

I really feel like they should upgrade the fountain to a giant tank and purchase a shamu from sea world. That would make for an amazing fountain show!

I forgot to add I welcome the craft beer. It’s a favorite hobby of mine and something that seemed to be severely lacking at KI.

Last year I ate most of the food in the park. I found the Coney Island BBQ to be ok as was the LaRosa’s. I found almost every other piece of food I ate to range between meh and terrible. I hope this goes more the way of the BBQ and less like the Panda Express.

I can only comment on the pizza. I got an entire pizza for $8. Normal sized slices as far as I can tell.

I was at Soak City with my children today. I’ve never seen so many people. We had to wait a good 8 minutes just to get on the Aruba Tuba. And I think the food line was 45 minutes. People love some $8 whole pizzas.

FYI, I didn't mean to sound entitled or crap on anyone's parade. It's great that you all are excited for this. I shouldn't be trolling the thread because I don't get it. Truth be told I've ridden two roller coasters this year in total because I spend the time there with my kids. I just wanted something that would put KI on the map. A point of pride to rally behind. Obviously. I'm guessing it's because Cedar Fair blesses them with rides people will actually pay to ride.

I have a two year old, and a 3 month old. I should be excited because this is something I can do with my kids (in the near future). But man just more meh. Something special would be nice.

Firehawk is a crappy coaster that was given away when they scrapped Geaga Lake. Mystic Timbers and Banshee are pretty meh. The Beast is the only amazing coaster at Kings Island. Cedar Point has 4 amazing coasters. It would be sweet to get a new one. That’s all I’m saying.

Cedar Point gets Steel Vengance. Kings Island gets some dilapidated cars that go in a circle at 5mph. We truly are blessed.

I’m hoping for a return of Days of Thunder. Such a cheesy ride. Such a cheesy movie. Christ I loved it.

On Wednesday I had a burger at the reds hall of fame grill. It was absolutely terrible. The burger was burnt well done. Seriously how in the heck can your patty be worse than McDonalds? It’s not hard to cook a burger. I did enjoy the fries.

I heard they also found sidewalk chalk.

I forgot about this. I had to cover his feet before we went up the Eiffel Tower. I thought that was funny since he was strapped to me in a carrier. Thanks for the tip. I got 3 miles from my car around the park perimeter and then around Soak City and back. I haven’t been to SC since I was a kid. It’s huge. I can’t wait to take my family there.

They have a baked potato casserole as a side today. It is worth the price of admission. Get it now. Edit it to add this is atvthe Coney BBQ.

I will use Runkeeper to keep track of how far I go. I’ve been doing that for years. I was just curious if anyone knew what to expect. I also have an app named ski tracks that keeps track of my ski days (vertical feet, speed, distance). That may be fun on a roller coaster. He’s ridden the train and carousel a few times already! Trying to start him right. Haha.

This is probably a dumb topic, but I’m posting it anyway because I’m bored and genuinely curious. I’m off work for paternity leave until August. I plan on heading to the park to walk with my son daily and get some exercise/ get out of the house. The last time my wife gave birth it was winter and my paternity leave became very depressing because we couldn’t be outside. I’m going to avoid that this time . Does anyone know how long the route would be if I came in the main gate, walked to and around the SC perimeter, then back around the main park perimeter? I will also use this opportunity to check out more/all lunch options in the park. i also wanted to say I am blessed to live 10 minutes from the park and have an employer that gives me the opportunity to bond with my son.
