Would be great for some other form of FL entrance into The Beast, besides having to squeeze past the exit riders Score a free Beast 40th anniversary t-shirt! This year marks the 40th annivesary of the world's longest wooden roller coaster, The Beast, and Kings Island will celebrate in a special way. To kick off the celebration, riders on the first 40 trains after the park officially opens for the 2019 season on April 20 at 10 a.m. will receive a commemorative 40th anniversary Beast t-shirt.

Yes, I had it last year and got for this coming season. I used it all through Haunt, just doesn't work for Winterfest

It throws my back off.. I don't know why.. I've always felt I have a strong back, and I do hard work and never back pain.. I seriously only notice back pain when on The Beast.. Thanks to this forum. I did learn for myself anyway to ride middle trains and stay off the wheels which make for a smoother ride

Ride all the major rides, then the kid will be ready. You'll be fine in IMO Some hills, speed and bumps won't be no worse then driving to KI

I have no back problems, but I can't ride toward the back of beast, it almost makes me cry from the pain it causes my back.. I'm 6'5 so maybe that has something to do with it

I'm trying to plan the first weekend by going Saturday w/o my kid and Sunday with my kid, but the Ki website doesn't show it's open on the 21. Does anyone know if indeed it's not open on Sunday of opening weekend?

Yes, Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg is our family vacation spot each year. A week in a cabin.. As teenageninja said, lot's of cool EASY hikes.. Lot's of fun and free
