Not Timbers construction related but does anyone know where in the park this is located? It looks like Banshee area but thats all I can guess (My bad i had just saw this on my second account CoasterMatt Productions and as curious)

White Water Falls at Carowinds was removed for this year. That's the only reason I say Congo might go to, it doesn't get that much riders and it uses some good land for some new rides.

This is what i think Kings Island will do for the next five years AFTER Mystic Timbers: 2018: Snoopy Expansion, take out the petting zoo and level it and replace it with some great thrilling family/kiddie rides for the area. Construction starts back in Dino's area (check out 2019) and Vortex closes in August of this year, and begins to be dismantled. 2019: A Giga goes in place of Dino's breaking Fury 325's height, speed and length while using the back area behind Firehawk and FOF. If the coaster does not travel completely behind FOF and Firehawk i think that it will turn around near the two rides, make it's way back and use some of Vortex's old location. Also, Congo Falls is scrapped during the offseason for future expansion. 2020: Waterpark expansion with new slides back along the pathway that the lazy river goes where guests cannot walk on now, only associates can. Possibilities could be something like dorsal fin at Carowinds, or some speed slides that are TALLER than Tropical Plunge, just like the old ones where Rendezvous Run is now. 2021: Overall park improvements, Action Zone is rethemed and a couple refurbished flat rides go in Congo Fall's place. 2022: Lets start fresh over again and go back into Rivertown. I think a small expansion near Diamondback where the Tropical Smoothies stand is or along the grass near Backlot Stunt Coaster, we will see some more new flats installed and a TrioTech dark ride in Crypt's Building. OR on the other hand if they are looking to add a new coaster AGAIN, remove the Crypt building and place a Maverick 2.0 in its spot, running near Diamondback and have it built by B&M, Mack or Chance (personally I would like to see a bigger size model of Lightning Run come to the park. I do think that we will see a Giga in Dino's spot and it breaks Fury's existing records, flat rides come to the park since Cedar Fair looks to be doing this now, I would like to see the Flight Commander pad used possibly for a Gerstlauer Sky Roller.

^I wonder if when the Train backstage tour during Coasterstock is given if they will take us back to this point. That would give some great off ride shots for pictures and videos!

My guess is that new concrete will be poured behind what is now the train's exit, the gates and fence that train uses now will stay standing and they'll merge somewhere along the train's exit. Grant it I know Blueprints are Blueprints but some changes are made sometimes. Basically to sum all of this up. A LOT OF FOOTWORK WILL BE AT TRAIN FROM EXITING OF TIMBERS LOL

My bad i read it wrong. I just recently looked at those leaked blueprints and a couple things stick out at me: 1. The exit will be possibly be merged with KI&MVRR? From what is shown it looks like the exit will go down underneath Mystic Timbers track and merge with the train's exit (possibly will still have the fence and gate there for the train) and looks to be a small hut or building there. Maybe something like a Firehawk type building for photos? 2. If you look at the picture of the leaked Blueprint it looks to have some kind of covering/awning about a fourth of the way into the line. Possibly for shade? Also from the picture above that covering looks to be for the lockers.

Those leaked Blueprints showed it being near the train station I believe.

Im going to be honest with you either that is for part of the queue or for lockers. If it was for a giftshop the walls would have been up before the roof was installed.

Ah so your the lucky lad that my best friend was telling me about! She said her friend got log flume and you had got timbers but she didn't mention a name. Congrats and welcome aboard! As of right now we have a couple guys from backlot, a guy from beast, myself and a guy from Diamondback but that's all I know as of right now.

Depends on the options they give you if your hired on. Like it's stated above usually if your hired on and ready to work when they have on ride training days, newbies are usually last to get trained. I remember last year at the log flume, when we had our training day (freezing day to be running a log ride honestly), returners such as my self and about 2 other people where quickly retrained and signed off then the people from other rides, then the newbies. I guess it honestly depends on placement and crew number.

Congrats! Vortex is a lot of fun i worked there alot for Haunt since the log ride closed a lot of times. Don't check the restraints to hard! I got blisters from it and it wasn't fun lol.

I also, am planning on attending Holliwood Nights (for the first time) and Chill out at the Point (for the first time).
