  1. I truly believe KI already has a HUGE hit on their hands. This has as much, if not more, buzz than virtually all new attractions in the past twenty years. If this succeeds, as I think it will, I expect it will set the trajectory for all future installs at KI.

There was a time pre-merger when a hotel was in the future plans.

Just playing around with AI a little lol tbh I actually kinda like how this turned out! If this actually came to reality, it would give Great Wolf some legit competition!
  4. Honestly, I laughed. The whole "jail," aspect is hilarious and I've heard of a few folks going there *cough season visitor cough cough.* If I remember correctly, it is off of guest services in a conference room. Maybe not.
  5. As time goes on, this may actually become a reality...
  6. Used AI to come up with a Beast Canyon Saloon concept:
  7. I love how the entire ride blueprints were allowed to be public record, but this isn’t. The fact that this needs a ride wait time sign scares me though, I wonder if they’ll sell single-use Fast Lane for it.
  8. Guessing New Braunfels will retain the name as it is being invested in by Six Flags and Galveston is a different “market.”
  9. Doubt it will be that much of a bump. Those who are in the Midwest who would visit any other park than their home park most likely already had the Platinum Pass or Prestige Pass. Trends on visiting parks in the Midwest likely are not going to change much at all just because a regional pass is now available (after the whole MVP sale).
  10. I mean, I wouldn't be opposed to a return of Kenton's Cove Keelboat Canal in that area. It could be incorporated into Rivertown in some way.
  11. Yep. That's pretty much what I remember. I thought I was just telling a funny story of my nonsense. I didn't recognize that it would trigger so many of these geeks.
  12. They did confirm in the press release https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20260304540073/en/Six-Flags-Further-Streamlines-Its-Portfolio-With-Agreements-to-Divest-Seven-Parks that "Cash proceeds, after taxes and transaction expenses, will be used to pay down debt."
  13. I would rather have this pond than a small flat ride. People don't remember (or aren't old enough to remember) what it was like before Diamondback.
  14. Is it just me or am I getting serious 2016 vibes with this ad on the website? Reminds me a lot of the banner on the entrance back in 2016 Photo source: https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=122124750639113270&set=pcb.2797682560564843
  15. They probably would, but Sandusky literally has like 3 indoor waterpark hotels near each other including a Great Wolf. Competition can be a good thing. Plus I'm not envisioning a major indoor waterpark on the size of Great Wolf. I'm thinking something more along the lines of the little indoor waterpark that used to be connected to the thirsty pony years ago or the indoor waterpark at the YMCA in Lebanon.
  16. This is still weird to see, "Kings Island owner Six Flags..."
  17. Looks like the silver pass has returned.
  18. (Prefacing with the fact that I don't like to drink alcohol anyways) Hey I'm sure that brandy is still enjoyable enough after nearly 200 years aging in a plantation house An embarrassing story indeed, but a funny one as well. Is this "jail" just a room in the admin building or where is it? I'm sure the park has something secure, but I don't know which of the admin buildings it would reasonably go in.
  19. A Mack water coaster or rocking boat would look great here.
  20. It looks great, but.... 1. That would be a nightmare for traffic on KI drive. Would probably want to route resort traffic on Western Row Road. 2. Would need more parking. 3. I'm sure Mason would want a much further setback. Your ideas have come such a long way over the years. I know you used AI, but I think this one is the best yet. But I have to ask: will it include a saloon or bar?
  21. Pretty embarrassing, honestly.
  22. Cool story, bro.
  23. Where would the fun be if we all had the same takes? I’m looking at this through the lens of opportunity.
  24. I don't think it was actually a jail. I think it was just the police room or whatever. They just didn't think we could safely be in the park any longer and had to stay in that room until our friends showed up. We had apparently caused a scene in line for I believe the Terror Trail or something? And we saw the lights flashing blue and red when we got out of the house. We knew it was for us. They stopped me and my friend, and asked us if we had been drinking and how much. I stated, "Only whatever we have been served here tonight! That's all!" Trying to insinuate we had been overserved by the park and we weren't to blame for our actions. Right as I said that, my friend had a fifth of E&J brandy fall out of his jacket pocket onto the ground. The funniest possible timing anything has ever happened. We had seen a specific cop earlier in the evening, and he told us we were going to end up in some sort of trouble then. He was the one that took us up to the front, and laughed about it all the way. When we got up there, they told us we need to call up our friends to get us at the entrance as we couldn't safely be in the park anymore. Both our phones were dead, so they gave us chargers, and we called them up as soon as our phones were turned on. The same officer took us back up to the front, and I asked him if I could run into a gift shop to buy a Haunt shirt. He said that was fine, our friends showed up, and he bid us farewell. One of the best Haunt nights ever, but also surprisingly, not the drunkest Haunt night I have had.
  25. Massacre Manor was in the original Dodgem building (later repurposed for the laser maze and Attitudes gift shop) and was demolished to make way for Coney Bar-B-Que. CarnEvil was the maze in the Enchanted Theater next to Phantom Theater/Scooby-Doo/Boo Blasters and its space is now used for the Peanuts Playhouse theater. They've been hosting more Tricks & Treats and Winterfest shows in there lately, but for the main season it's often an indoor Meet & Greet location alongside any shows they host in it.
  26. I disagree. I think it was a historical move for the 50th and then they realized there was still interest in the characters and story. Why not capitalize on what you already created when you know it is popular with guests instead of starting from scratch.
