Why is everyone so convinced the ride is going to be named something other than Polaris or Orion? Even if it's not going to be either of those, the chances of it just being something random people have pulled from thin air are pretty slim....

Today was pretty crazy. Swore I wouldn't go down at all today. Then I remembered we have not seen a single show this year. Lol. Spent the first couple hours riding coasters, checking construction site. The it was an afternoon/evening of shows. Did notice that both Gravity and Space Beagle seemed to have a similar theme of contact with aliens. Sorry if someone else has already brought this up. But just thought it was pretty cool and all. Great show all around btw.

Does anyone think the Halloween Haunt C.H.A.O.S. was a bit of a preclude to the coaster? The storyline could potentially fall into the theme. Here's the 2018 storyline

Its ok to have a little bit of fun on the forum, one time someone said they saw track at night at Kings Island and posted a picture of a black screen and trolled us, we where perfectly fine with it even though it was a little bit annoying

I know that this is a horrible drawing, but I think a tunnel at the bottom of the turnaround would be really cool. Like if you are in fact going to be spiraling down, it would be very neat to spiral down into the tunnel. Note: the tunnel is gray because the background is black.

Just drove by. Track is loaded, heading to Hershey. Nothing new with blue track. It still scattered everywhere.

I think it is definitely possible for a retheme and entire overhaul of the area. They have a budget of $120 million throughout CF and this is the only known roller coaster going in. Look at what they did with copperhead strike this year. They completely rethemed the entire area to blue ridge junction and added a restaurant and our old gliders on top of copperhead strike.

Who thinks this is more than just a rollercoaster? Maybe... just maybe... this will be an entire revamp of the area with more rides, shops, restaurant and the thing everyone seems to want.... restrooms! maybe the area will be named Orion or Polaris? I’m still holding out for a new version of Extraterrorestrual Alien Encounter... look it up on YouTube if you don’t know what that ride is. Any way you look at it, I think this will be an exciting direction for the park to take!

Finally a theme that will make sense to me.

I'm still going to grab shots from the tower with my DSLR... Linrs are ridiculous today... DB was an hour and they were only running 2 trains... plus there are 3 company picnics from what I can gather today, plus free admission for another group

I know this name was dead in 2010, but what attraction was the name for? It is from Cedar Fair.

I don’t really think they’d close attractions to keep something secret, it just doesn’t make sense. If that were the case wind seeker would also probably be closed (Granted it is closed at least twice a day )

Thanks to all keeping everyone updated. I’m at Disney this weekend. (daughter got to go to cast preview of Galaxy’s Edge today...I went to MK.) I will be there Thursday with bells on. I think everyone will be excited after we see what B&M and KI will be bringing us next year. Soon the truth will be there and we can be excited for next April.

Yes the ride will most likely have Fast Lane plus, every new Cedar Fair rollercoaster has had Fast Lane offered the first season.

Banshee FLP was crazy opening day, but they didn't do a large season pass preview event for Banshee and they were handing out free shirts for the first 5,000 riders. Didn't do that for Mystic Timbers. MT I was there for pass preview and they didn't use the FLP. Not sure on opening day though. I do know that on season pass preview for mystic, some people did get front of line passes.

I was on that bout month ago. First time I ever seen the launch fail. It had enough momentum to start the helix but came rolling right back. I'm still curious on something... Last year, isnt it true someone spotted RMC in KI with picture proof? If so.... I'd be checking next year for a contract coming...

It's not too bad, were coming back next Saturday, so hopefully they start some vertical construction after Thursday and I can grab some shots of that... In hindsight, today was packed and maybe not so great a day to come... we are now in a 55 minute wait for BLSC...

This has been mentioned before. I'm just curious since people keep bringing this up: does anyone have any examples of a park naming trains on a ride and trademarking them?

Highly rumored to have been considered for WindSeeker. Furthermore, there was speculation that this would have been the name if Cedar Fair went with Funtime as opposed to Mondial.

I wondered the same thing last night, and if so, perhaps the reason was to prevent people from seeing something that would only be visible from the top of the tower.

It's got the Paramount logo which makes me feel like its got to do with the logo not the name?

I personally don't think it'll be Orion or Polaris simply because I can't recall ever having the ride actually named what we've found copyrights for prior to the announcement :p
