It's 2012 and just under four more months until Kings Island opens its doors for its 40th season. Beast use to have a very complex queue line, more then it is today. We'll get to that in future updates. I like Beast

The campground was truly proof that money does not buy happiness. The Kings Island Inn (Where we stay now.) is by far more expensive than the campground...but I have tons more fond memories staying at the campground....even the skunk that waddled by our cabin one night!

I can't even imagine standing in line for Vortex that long...nor would I.

I also have many great memories of the campground. Except for twice when they were all booked up, we always rented the cabins. (I guess we were wusses!) I keep hoping the park will trade ol' SBNO for a campground.

When is the last time they used Switchbacks on Racer? Anyone ever seen them in use?

And ask for free stuff. Don't forget that. "My fries were cold! I want free tickets, an apology, and Snoopy to give me a backrub!"

Thanks for the great trip report. You help a friend move and she treats you to a one of a kind experience. One minor thing, one ride you did has a great punny name: Europe In The Air! I really miss BGW and should have made their Christmas event. It truly is a wonderful park.

Something will be said. Perhaps not about Son of Beast, but something will be said. Otherwise, it's going to be a mighty quiet assemblage.
