Does anybody think that The Beach Waterpark will ever get a new waterslide in 2011 or 2012? I really like that waterpark but I don't even remember them getting anything new and I've been going for probably 5 years since I was 8

Beach added a body slide in 2004 called "Volcanic Panic"

They also have a slide complex from the old "Columbus Zoo" waterpark before it was transformed into zoombazi bay or something.

Also notice the Log Flume logs towards the bottom left, they look very similar to those that were/are at LeSourdsville Lake.

Those slide peices ahve been sitting there for over a year though.

I like the Cliff there and thats about it I heard one of the slides there was from surf cincinnati but was never assembled so I guess they got rid of it. The Beach is really going down hill.

On the contrary... The Beach Waterpark had an all time record for yearly attendance, and this was just a few years ago.

(Unless, of course, this is just a rumor. I seem to remember getting this information from a credible source.)

True but everytime I went it just seems run down I don't know maybe I have high expectations.

Iv'e been to the Beach Waterpark only twice both in 2007 and I loved the place...I hope it hasn't changed for the bad but from what Iv'e been told the park is still awesome.

Used to love the beach! I played in a steel drum band in high school that used to play in the "adult" pool on the weekends...

Yes, the daily steel band concerts are a must see. (Now are located next to the wave pool, near the food stand.)

The "adult" pool is now known by many as the warm water pool, and is a very relaxing stop. (Once you get in, its hard to leave!)

As you might be able to tell, The Beach Waterpark is one of my very favorite places. Real sand! Real surf! Real fun!
