I just signed up for ACE. this is my first time ever. With me trying to get Coaster Conquest off the ground and running. What can I expect? Is it worth it?

Anyone here currently a member? I'm highly considering going to the Christmas party on Dec 9th at Sawmill Creek in Sandusky. Registration closes tomorrow (11/28) evening. Anyone else going?

It seems like throughout the years multiple individuals, not just on this site, find information from sources that might not always be credible. I created this thread so we as a community can confirm or debunk the credibility and reliability of the many amusement park sites, pages, and organizations that enthusiasts use everyday. Just thought I would throw this out there for those who are not aware or thinking of joining ACE.

ACE’s annual No Coaster Con, the original middle-of-winter tradition for members, guests and amusement park representatives to visit, talk about the latest coaster news and enjoy a day of informative presentations and surprises, is moving to a new location this year. As you all know The Smoky Mountains have experienced some bad damage due to fires in the area. We at The Coaster Crew want to try and do our part in the healing process.

Is The Coaster Crew the best club for me?

I have always wanted to get involved with a club that has to do with roller coasters and amusement parks. I have recently sent American Coasters Enthusiasts a request for them to send me an application to join, and that should be arriving in the mail in a few weeks. But if have just found out that the Coaster Crew exists too. I have found out that The Coaster Crew is a lot cheaper, but would it be better for me? I really want to get involved with a club that consists of amusement parks, and I would like to meet people who have the same passion for roller coasters as I do. So is this the right club for me?

Change in Coaster Crew membership options and cost

Coaster Crew posted on Facebook this morning that they are doing away with their "regular" $10/year membership option, in order to "stay competitive with other Coaster Enthusiast Clubs, and to become more reputable to Parks to be included in their sponsored events" and also for the purpose of "satisfying some parks policies on membership prices allowing club members to be apart of park held events such as CoasterStock, Holliwood Nights, and select Media Days."

This change is effective December 1. There will now be just one membership option, which will be $25/year for a single person plus an additional $5 for each additional member in the same household at the same address.

This new membership structure will come with more perks, including but not limited to:

- A full size official Crew Calendar sent each year in December.

- More park discounts including local FEC's, & Zoo's.

- Hotel Discounts.

- Random Coaster Crew Merchandise Mailings.

- Even more events in 2015!

- Access to Coasterstock at KI & Holliwood nights at HW!

- Access to select Media Days for new attractions.

- Discounts on Coaster Crew Merchandise.

- Attend official Coaster Crew Events at a discounted rate.

Existing "regular" (non-Platinum) memberships will be grandfathered in, and an option will be available to upgrade such a membership to the new system.

The Coaster Crew is holding an event at Kings Island this coming season on Monday July 7th. It will be our 2nd annual BIG BANG EVENT!

- 9:00am Banshee ERT
- 9:30am Carousel & Scrambler ERT
- Behind the scenes tour of Banshee
- Lunch from 2:30 - 4:30
- Afternoon Behind the scenes Beast Tour
- Priority seating at a select show TBD

- Last rides of the evening on Banshee

I am very excited that the parks in Ohio have decided to include us in these days. It makes sense since we have the most compassion and love these airtime machines! When the media is filming us it shows how good the ride is as opposed to GP that might have mixed feelings or get sick easily. I am ready for April!!!!
